4th of July Ice Cream Cake
This festive ice cream cake is more impressive than any fireworks display you’ll see this year! Vanilla ice cream dotted with red, white, and blue sprinkles is sandwiched between two layers of soft and fluffy vanilla cake, and the whole thing is topped with whipped cream frosting (like the patriotic ice cream sundae of your dreams). Ice cream cake, we salute you!
Summer Stuffed Shells
Who said summer dinners can’t be cozy? These stuffed shells are bursting with seasonal flavor from sweet corn, zucchini, and basil, but they also hit the comfort food spot thanks to the cheesy, rich ricotta filling.
To keep these stuffed shells feeling light and bright, we’ve added a lemony punch to the ricotta filling. The lemon, fresh basil, and zucchini play beautifully off of one another, and pops of sweetness from corn bring the summer vibes all the way home. The shells are nestled in a bed of marinara sauce (try our homemade marinara, or use your favorite jarred sauce), then topped with melty mozzarella to bring it all together (hello, cheese pull!).
Feel free to swap in any of your favorite seasonal veggies, but note that depending on the vegetable, you may have to cook them in advance of stuffing the shells. Serve this recipe with a crusty loaf bread for sopping up all that sauce.
Turkuterie Board
It’s a tail as old as time: It’s the evening after Thanksgiving dinner, and your guests don’t want a full meal but are feeling a little peckish. Try a bird of a different feather this year, and serve this festive and impressive fruit and cheese display as the centerpiece of your holiday dessert table. We’ve packed this cheese board with fruits and cheeses appropriate for an autumnal after-dinner snack that everyone will want to gobble up!
